International FiBS-Projects

The FiBS-Foundation in Hungary has set itself the task of teaching the spiritual FiBS-Pedagogy to children and young people in schools. The implementation with a daily teaching unit is carried out with the help of a special spiritual FiBS-Curriculum by pedagogically trained FiBS teachers.
FiBS is geared towards the needs of the individual children – based on their respective stage of development – and fosters their individual abilities in the best possible way through multisensory learning.
FiBS supports the holistic development of children – intellectually, physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, artistically, ethically and spiritually.

Integration classes give children with physical, mental or physical disabilities the opportunity to adapt to their environment and to feel that they belong, have equal rights and are accepted.

Non-violence, honesty, thought control, gratitude, love for all creation, selfless service, healthy nutrition, personal goal setting, motivation.

2.  Respectful Treatment of Others
Mindfulness, conflict resolution, power and strength of thoughts, loving dialog, recognition of other cultures.

3.  Spiritual Life
Spiritual way of life, life of saints and mystics, acceptance of all world religions.

4.  Spirituality in Art
Painting, sculpture, music, dance and poetry.

5.  Project Work

The spiritual curriculum also included teamwork, heart-to-heart communication, discernment, personal responsibility, emotional competence, social action with head, heart and hand, as well as learning according to learning type. Concentration exercises and sporting activities completed the holistic school concept.
And the most important thing: there was always a short meditation at the beginning of the lesson.

The spiritual FiBS-Pedagogy has provided the children with a high standard of education, laying an important foundation for their future lives. It gives them the opportunity to become self-confident and loving individuals.
The teachers were trained in FiBS-Pedagogy. There was a regular exchange of experiences between the FiBS chairperson and the FiBS teachers at the school.
The FiBS textbooks for the pupils and FiBS teacher’s manuals formed the basis of the FiBS lessons at the school.

Director Maklari-Kis Tünde reports:
The spiritual FiBS-Pedagogy yielded a significant improvement in the pupil’s social behavior, reduction of aggression and anxiety, better concentration and learning results, more loving interaction with each other, more harmony in the class community and respectful interactions between teachers, students and parents.
